Manish Arora is one of the leading Indian fashion designer. He launched his label ‘Manish Arora’ in 1997 and started retailing in India. In the year 2000 he represented India at the India fashion week and participated at the first ever India fashion week held in New Delhi.
He is a creative entrepreneur and has given life to his vision by creating different outfits. He has drawn inspiration from the mysterious of space for his fall winter collection, which he says “people will sport in 2015”. His collection has stiff and glossy fabrics like Lurex, satin, velvet, leather, and wool, vanarasi silk and printed with metallic, luminescent dyes.
All of Arora’s garments have a black base with bright colors over it. Arora says for him, apart from the garments, the make- up, hair-do and shades are the stars of the shows. Manish launched his Second label fish fry and showed this collection in six leading cities in India and was stocked at lord and Taylor, New York 2002.
Manish opened his first flag ship store 'Manish Arora Fish Fry' in New Delhi. Manish opened his second flag ship store in the commercial capital of India. Manish Arora collaborated with Reebok to design a collection of shoes under the brand Fish Fry for Reebok. “Indian by Manish Arora”a brand design specially keeping in view the growing Indian market for women’s wear is licensed to another to another reputed fashion company. Manish will be showing his Spring/Summer-2008 collection during the Paris fashion week.
